Important Message from the
Newbury Police Department:
COVID-19 Related Resources
At this time, the Newbury Police Department is making an effort to limit the amount of people in our lobby. We respectfully request that if you have a question or need to report something please call us instead of coming in to the building. Also, as much as we appreciate the thought, please do not bring any food to the station. We cannot accept it at this time. We are doing our best to keep our officers safe and healthy so they are available if you need them.
If you are experiencing an emergency, do not hesitate to call 911.
We will come. We will always be here for you.
As this continues, we grow concerned about those who may be living in violent homes. If you are experiencing family violence, please call 911, we will respond. Additionally, we remain in contact with the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center and are familiar with the manner in which they are currently offering services.
When possible, non-emergency business will be conducted via phone, mail or email. If you have firearms licensing renewals, please mail the paperwork and check to the Newbury Police Department, Attn: Deputy Chief Patty Fisher. Be sure to print clearly and include a phone number and email address on the forms.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We will all get through this by working together, staying calm, being patient, and being respectful to one another. Don’t forget to wash your hands, limit social contact, and check in on elderly or sick family members and neighbors via telephone.
Stay safe everyone! As always, it’s an honor to protect and serve you.
