Car Seat Assistance
Car seat checks provide peace of mind for all caregivers transporting children in vehicles to ensure that their child's safety seat is installed properly and used correctly.
In November 2022, Sergeant Jason daCunha became a National Child Seat Passenger Safety Certified Technician. He installs and inspects car seats, free of charge, to both residents and non-residents. All children should have access to new, appropriate and safe child passenger seats.

Ensuring your child’s safety during transportation is our top priority. In addition to offering this service to families who have the financial means to purchase child safety seats, Sgt. daCunha works with income eligible families to acquire appropriate child safety seating for all children.
